About Course
For those who want to test the waters and try scuba, this is the course for you! The SDI Scuba Discovery Program gives you a glimpse of what you can expect to experience in the underwater world as well as what you could expect to learn in the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course. During this experience program, you will go through the basic safety procedures for enjoyable scuba diving under the watchful eye of an active SDI Instructor.
You will learn skills such as equalizing your ears, buddy checks, basic buoyancy control, underwater communication, and more. You will also be given an introduction to basic scuba equipment followed by an underwater tour in the local pool or aquatic environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Diving requires you to have a minimum of health and fitness. If you have heart or respiratory problems or have recently had surgery, you will need to get a diving health certificate from your doctor. First Download and fill out the diving health form here, if your answer to the questions in this form is negative you do not need a medical certificate, but if you answered two or three questions YES you should Take this form to your specialist doctor and ask him to complete it for you.
The duration of this course is one day and finally two days. Initially, half an hour of training is done in the pool and one or two sea dives at a depth of 9 meters.
After registering, a group will be formed in WhatsApp for coordination and the exact day of your presence in Qeshm will be announced one week in advance. Unfortunately, due to unpredictable weather conditions, we will not be able to coordinate sooner.
During your stay on Qeshm Island and your personal expenses are at your own risk. Classes are held on Qeshm Island and near the city of Qeshm. It is better to pay attention to this point for staying.
Basic diving suits and equipment, as well as equipment needed for each dive, are provided.
Classes are private and consist of 4 people
A private boat is provided to the group members
Divers are insured during practical training
At the end of the course you will receive a Discover Scuba Diver certificate and you will be able to participate in the Open Water Diving course.
For the issuance of a virtual card, $ 30 will be charged separately by SDI.
After passing this course, you can participate in the Open Water Diver course.
